I have a new addition to my bucket list. =D
I recieved an email featuring Singapore's 50 yummiest cakes (though I know now, that is backdated) but I decided to include the task of tasting this 50 cakes under my bucket list.

I am not that huge of a cake fan actually but I just adore the beaut of a cake.
Think it would really take time for me to actually finish the 50 cakes but with actual cake lovers like Vonx and obliging boyfriend like Jason, I think I should be able to do that.

That might make me really fat but still life's worth a few pounds for good cakes. You can eat it alone, share with a friend, bring it home but just get a bite of it...the joy of sharing life's delectables is sheer pleasure.

Photobucket That's my dinner.

Mum didn't cook tonight so I set off to my own dinner.
Nothing is cheap now,isn't it?
That damn soya tau-huay used to cost $1.20 and now it costs me $1.50. That damn beancurb wasn't even COLD!!

I was comparing the prices for the cheese & canned tuna and decided to go with household brand aka FairPrice. Even that few cents account for alot in long run and putting the money aside, the household brand actually didn't taste as bad.
For instance, I can't never tell the difference (in taste) of a Fairprice cheese slice & a Kraft cheese slice. To me, they taste the same.
Fairprice tuna actually tastes better,in my opinion, than Ayam brand. I never really like Ayam brand actually.

So that it is! With the surging food prices and the depreciating value of our income, how can we survive? Yes,our income value depreciates as everything costs.
I really, really dislike here in this aspect.

The weather is still atrociously warm so drink more water.

Love,
Ling

It's SOOOOOOOO warm!!!!!!!!
I almost chao-tar-ed (3 words syllabus) on my way to work.
Needless to say...please load your H2o intake. For gals, please add on your sunblock as well. I always forget to do so till I'm outta the house.

Nothing much to add on today.
Sianish Monday!

Gotta jia you tomorrow.

Oh...Happy Birthday.
That's all.

Painting Princess Room - Vol 1

I didn't think painting is more difficult than doing all of the housechores. I mean, how exactly brushing the wall with paint can be? It could be just tiring only.

"Without me, you will still be having a yellow wall.... ;p"
-_- LOL!
That is Jason for you.
Any gal would expect a romantic answer from their boyfriend when she messaged something in the line of "What I will I be without you." (Reminded me of Clay Aiken & was it Kelly Clarkson -Without you.)
When I saw that reply, I just can't help to roll my eyes & laugh about it.

We only managed to paint one side of the wall white as planned. It is now weird to see a side of white wall and another yellow.
Till the pink stripes goes up, stay tune.

Anyhow..some pics.

Photobucket Now white.

PhotobucketMy painter & me.

ROARSSSSS!!!Photobucket

I kinda like this pic till Jason said I look like 七仔。Photobucket

.......Now he said it, you thnk so too right?

Photobucket After bath. ^^ Ah Gong & Ah Ma revealed.

We went to AMK for dinner & I saw a PINK Sony Bravia range TV.

Photobucket Honestly it wasn't that nice & quality of the images wise...I've seem better. But a PINK TV is just so nice, isn't it? I wonder in future wise, would I be able to see a Mac Monitor like but it's baby pink colour? It would be super chio!~.~

Food wise...have you tried the McGriddles?

It was my second time eating it.Photobucket

I still didn't find it enjoyable & nice, It is very weird to the taste buds for something that tastes 'sweet-plain-salty-sweet' altogether. I prefer the o'pancakes anytime.

Ok it's 2pm. Time for TV, time for housework. Laster shall do the measurements as instructed by Mr Wong.

MUACKS u ALL!

Photobucket Rem' I bought this from the Korean mini-mart and said I would tell you if it's good? I'm telling you now. It's AWFUL!
Other than the choco-nut outta layer, the inner gooey is AWful!

Class 95 was playing Christina Aguilera's What a Girl wants (Or did I get the title wrong now?) and Jean Danker announced that it was a song first played 8 years ago.

8 years old! OMG! I quickly took the calculator and minus my age 8 years back. Apparently the shock took my ability to do mental sums away, I was too shocked by that 8 years ago announcement.

16 years old was when that song played?!!
How can that be? I know it's nothing within these years but 8 years ago was somewhat shocking for me!

Then again....I'm already 24,(feels like 20 and acts like 18 sometimes)what's up?
Time flies................

Tomorrow gonna start my painting room project vol 1.

Bless me~

Before I zzZ

It's quite a (Nose blocking, voice cracking, sore throating) sleepy & unproductive Thursday for me.
So before I end my night, I shall show you some picts from yesterday.

In the office, we celebrated Fyn's 24th birthday. My darling is turning 24 officially tomorrow. Babe, not an age to fret cos' you look forever 21. Hehehe.

Photobucket Her quite yummy strawberry cake.

Photobucket My darling in her online purchase kimono style dress! She causes me to be a victim of online shopping! LOL!

Photobucket Jaime's present to Fyn. It is a fluffy grey sheep but when I took a pict of it, I think it really looks more like a monkey. Lol. Don't you think so?

Yesterday was Jason & my 58th month!Photobucket

(A painfully wrapped brollie)
We had dinner at the Ti Amo cafe at S'goon Central. It's just so nice to meet up for dinner once in a week like that.
PhotobucketCarbonara.
I did not took photos of other food but basically there is just another plate of Fish & Chips lah.
PhotobucketPhotobucket
We were at the Unity Pharmacy opposite ShopNSave where I was contemplating to buy the sheep placenta pills. Yes...SHEEP PLACENTA!
We have all read how beneficial to the skin placenta really is and I was thinking sheep's ones in pill forms doesn't sound half as scary & sinful to eat & apply.
What I am after is just the good skin. I was really about to buy when the lady told me that I need to consume 2-3 bottles of it to see the effect.
One bottle costs $29.95, 3 bottles would round up to $90. Like HELLoo?? I think I would need the money spent elseway like paint, wedding (Irene's) and Hongkong.
We went up to the 11th floor to admire my 'kingdom'.
Latest update: I CAN SEE THE FERRIS WHEEL!!!!!
Hahahaha...Envy mah?!
Photobucket
Afterwhich I asked Jason to piggyback me from 11th back to 5th floor. LOL!
I couldn't stop laughing but I don't know what's so funny?
Photobucket
Was a lovely night.
Tomorrow's Friday but I have an after-work interview. Super tired now..
night night.

Today's Earth day and have you done anything environmentally friendly?
Not me. =/
Neither have I done anything like what Von had stated like skipping sugared drinks etc.

On my way back, I randomly thought of my 5 most damaging (to the pockets) tangible items lying on Earth.

1) Online shopping
Seriously once you started one site, you will get introduce eventually to more sites. The most diabolic thing about online shopping is the clothes are nice, cheaper(if you know the good ones),convenient.
Ok that is more than one thing and you can too tell me the many good stuff about physical shopping. But I tellcha, once you started this...you would not be that interested in physical shopping and surfing those sites will eventually be a routine thing like checking your emails.
That is by far, the most EVIL scheme that human created for another good self to commit.

2)Pao pao cha~aka Bubble tea.
Blame it on the franchise Each a Cup just below my workplace, I am so addicted that honey green tea (with jellies)!!
It's not like a dollar a cup and it is not helping the waist.
This is worse than quitting smoking!

3)Magazines
You know working life can be so bored sometimes that you just wanna read something new, colourful & interesting after work.
Magazines does the trick and would keep you occupied for at least a few nights before you finish reading the fine prints of every page.
I am so resisting against buying Cleo this month! Cleo is a nice magazine, cheaper than HerWorld,Female etc but still a simple donation of $4.80 every month for say a week entertainment would accumulate to quite a sum per year.
ARGHHHHH~~~~~~NONONONONONONONO, I SHALT NOT BUY THIS MONTH!

4)Shoes/Bags
This one, I blamed my spontaneity. Period.
SIGH!!!!!!

5)Most things from Watsons.
Though Watsons is full of necessities like makeups, toiletries etc. BUT each time you step in with a few necessities on mind, you are likely to end up buying more than necessary.
Watsons is a screensaver of a level of hell.

If I can quit these 5 deadly sins or perhaps more appropriately avoid it as much as I can, I would be alot richer.

Starting from tomorrow....A step by a step.
This is worse than cold turkey!

I have amnesia on Mondays

Call it the weekend hangover, I suffered from bad case of memories lost today. Work wise, that is.
My memory seems to get shorter as I age and I am not even close to the word 'old' yet!
Wtf is happening to me?
I am always jokingly lament that when I get old, I'm gonna be senile and now I don't think that is a joke. That is more like premonition.
This is affecting me so much that despite the busy-ness of Monday, I am least productive -Efficiency & effectively productive.
Doesn't help when luck won't favour me!

That's it! I am bringing a small note pad with me. Before the start of each day, I am writing down the important must-dos.

ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!

Some effecti-fy photos from last gathering. I said, effectify, not photoshopped. That did not technicially enhance the way we look but merely make up for some flaws of how we looked in photos.
I believe we all look better in real.

Almost wrong again

Was about to blog some not so brightening feelings till I read on some life's-'bout-living-it-well blogs and snapped outta it.

-Slap,slap,slap-
What the heck was I feeling & thinking about?!

Photobucket Enjoying my redbean soup.^^

That's red bean soup if you can't tell. I know eating it from a cup seemed so 'off' and I even stacked the cup above my 501 Natural Wonders book. Aiyah~随便啦。

Was doodling just now when I cut it short cos' I can't doodle anything well. It doesn't help when mum was there blah blah de blah about dad which dad took his turn earlier in the day already.
Typically sian for me.

I am never spending enough of my life living it well, with a purpose, with fulfillment.

Plan,plan,plan!!
One day I am throwing everything outta my room and refill it with new things.

24 years old this year.

This birthday. (Never too soon to talk about it.)
I wanna...

1)Get a tatoo
2)Eat at an aunthentic foreign restaurant. (Like those really sells Indian/Jap/Turkish blah blah blah food with the RIGHT kinda settings.)

Let's leave it at here now. I feel so uncomfy and think I am getting a second bath.

My love opens the door - Sondre Lerche

Good Sunday, friends.
I just can't understand but probably won't care to, why Sunday morning's weather is just soooooo nice~

Photobucket (Taken at Takashimaya. Nice right~~?)
Irene's wedding is coming so soon. With much budget & time constraint, I am kinda having a hard time sourcing for the right shoes, right accessories etc.
Think I shall skip the professional make up cos' money is really the essence. DIY may be a lil not desirable but I try my best. -_- It is so sad not be be born rich.

April & May are such pocket unfriendly months. So much so that I thought of postponing my painting room project till the financial brighten up. Procrastinating on the other hand, is so damn painful and makes you take time for granted.

Have not been doing anything artful lately. Maybe gonna doodle later.

Anyhow~Celebrated Huang Mama's (aka Jason's mum) birthday yesterday. (Huang mama sounds something off Korean's drama but I never call her that lah.)
Photobucket
No prize for guessing which is his mum.

Cafe Cartel seriously need to consider revising thier standard of food. (Sometimes)Uncooked, unequal proportions. If not for the free flow of breads which typical Singaporeans would fancy(not me..it's just..like bread not cookies or cakes.), I don't see why people would patronise there?

Ok..that is an overstatement lah.But I am not too impressed with their food, that's all.
Photobucket Charmaine is so pretty that everyone just loves her to bits. Strangers or not, noone can stop adoring her upon knowing her. She just got this 'X' charm that draws all the adults to her.
Can you imagine when she reaches her teenage & young lady's years? 4th aunt is gonna have a headache with the flowers and presents throwing to her daughter. Lol.

Photobucket The bday cake's back.
PhotobucketThe bday cake's front.

Luckily they were all too full to have the cake after the desserts and Jason & I thought we are gonna eat the cake so didn't order desserts. Lol.
We (Jason & I) SERIOUSLY need to slim down!!!!

Other food picts.

Photobucket
Bought this from the Korean mini-mart at Cineleisure's basement.
Haven't tried it yet...will let you know if it's nice.

Photobucket The insides.

I did not choose this because of it's pink packaging. (That did come as a thought now) I was spending more than 10 mins inside the shop comparing the price, the worthiness and the yummy factor before I paid $4.50 for that measly 6 small packs of unknown yummies to share with Jason.

Photobucket Costs $2.50

I was feeling a lil peckish before going home from IMM last night. Had wanted to eat ice-cream and there is Azabu Sabo's ice cream. Waist and money factors come to consideration once more so we ended off with jellies.
Seriously not that nice lah. Average taste nia and Choco fudge one sucks. -_-

Photobucket That looks sooooooooooooooo sinfully yummy.
Really wanted to try it but Jason insisted not.
If you didn't read, it is Hot Mudslide Mocha. Whoever that tries it, lemme know the taste!

Photobucket Okie...2pm, time to watch my show & lunch!

Miss ya all.

Love,
Constipated Ling. -______-

(Last night's post)

I was flipping through the Japanese fashion magazine during lunch and saw some of those ultra gorgeous (for me) handphones which perhaps never will come to Singapore or maybe when it comes,it becomes so useless.

I mean...Check these out!

Photobucket
Photobucket
I like this white one SOOOOOO much!!! It's Panasonic W51p. Wondered would it ever, ever come to Singapore? I LOVE IT!!!

Photobucket
This is so nice too, unique!! I think these are Fujitsu'

Photobucket I think it's waterproof.

I wondered if I can get manicured nails like this for Irene's wedding...
Photobucket Super nice right?

Supposed to share this entry yesterday but the loading of photos hung a lil and I got tired.

I was talking to Jason on my way back and didn't know the couple whom I took the lift with did not press '6' so I ended up at level 11. -_-

I must say I feel very fortunate to live in my blk cos' I have got quite some nice view here. Unlike most HDBs which are facing each other or main road, mine faces a whole array of semi-ds and some nice, nice buildings. So from a top view, you would feel like a king facing your own kingdom.

My 3.2mpx can't show you much and it's evening so the lighting ain't that good.

Photobucket
This is just one part. The circled part is actually the banks you would see when you sit at M.Promenade. For real!

It's often windy here so I don't wanna move!!!!!!

I have been wanting to get a tatoo (in my bucket list too.) and I have already decided on a design.
I'm gonna go with a Princess crown. ^^
Photobucket (Jaime's cup from HK)
I wanted a princess crown like that on my right side of my shoulder back.
While I was bathing, I have somewhat decided to get this as my own birthday present.Cool, right? Hehe.

Ok...enough of my craps.
Jason said he has something planned for me this Saturday night and I wondered what could that be? FYI, that something planned coming from Jason is something extraordinary rare. Hahaha.

Ok, till then.
Love you all and yes, Happy Birthday my Irene baby~~
Love ya!

Photobucket (super shagged me after work yest)

Omg....I am tired!!!! X(

(Tall)Gals aren't made for heels.

I know that is so not true but I almost crippled my own by the end of the day.

Amazed how I managed to walk on it whole day long.Photobucket

While that perhaps ain't that high for your standard, (but really big right? Shuddap, tall girls have long feet. Period.)it is making me looking 6 feet tall for most people out there. Though I really don't feel that extra tall walking with it but I always have people asking me how tall am I, like I am like a member of NBA walking on the streets.
Like c'mon, tall gals are at rage these days and why I am always prone to questions of how tall am I and like I am taller than I actually am.

But if you think that I am gonna stop wearing that pair of tallest I have by far, you are crazy. Tall I am, shorter than you I will not be.

ZzZzZz.
Mental note for the hundred and thirteen time, do not catnap on Sunday no matter how tempting it is. It will result insomnia and it is Monday's wicked plan.

努力,努力,永不放弃!- 王力宏

I realised that my last post was on Monday.
Tuesday, lazy to blog.
Wednesday, dinner with Yuan pin & Jialiang. Too late to blog by the time I reached home.
Thursday, lazy and tired to blog.
Friday, dinner with my loves. Too late and tired to blog by the time I reached home.
Saturday, went out with Jason. Too tired to blog by the time I reached home.
Suddenly without knowing, it's Sunday once more.

Aftermath of all those days of un-blogging, lotsa photos and I tried not to bore you people by too many of them.

Okay, back to Wednesday.

Photobucket
Dinner at NYDC with Yuanpin & Jialiang. (I realised I didn't take photos with Jialiang!)
So long were the poly days & us then. I miss those TEP days alot and it is one of the best part of my life.
Other than the first 3 months which were totally craps, the rest of it is one of the most beautiful part of good memories. Without them, I wouldn't know many good friends. Good friends then, good friends now. It is heartwarming to still be in contact with some. =)

Photobucket I believed this was taken on Tuesday at Dhoby Ghaut MRT. Looking at this pic alone makes me -_______- sian.
Big evening rain these days.
(sigh..actually I ain't in the mood to blog now. Stomach feels tired! )

How about I just show you photos and you pardon me for another boring post?

Friday dinner with lovesss. Photobucket

I swore I have been eating too much this week! NYDC, Fish & Co and later MOF on Saturday!
Fish & Co is such a 'friend-friend' place.(Jason said that) Though I am not a big fan of seafood, I still enjoy myself. (How can I not with those faces?)
SW called me 纊天佑 because of my multi-coloured hair. (That idiot HK drama - A date with Vampire.) (-_-") TMD. Lol!
Oh..I have 2 photos of that Emo-boy. Maybe I should showcase here but I don't think he can saves them. Hehe.

Photobucket Emo boy 1 with his emo-friends by the side..

Photobucket Emo boy 2 with his em0-friends by the side.
Happy le ma? Lol. I like his T shirt though. SW, where you buy this kinda T de?
Another point to prove...See..Guys DONT look bad in PINK! It is such a nice colour and I dunno why some shiver at the sight of it.

Back to Fish & Co. Emo gals like me & Von quickly grabbed the window seats.
Photobucket Orchard is just such a city area. Sometimes it makes you feel nice, sometimes it doesn't work.

Photobucket This is Irene's wedding 'cakes' for us. So different right? The topic of wedding rings in my head since.
I was thinking..just thinking if I can skip this whole chinese banquet altogether. It's so much preparations and a one night show. (Not to mention the cost involved.)

My ideal one (I know I said too many times...) is just like those you see in American shows.
I dunno what is so not nice about having your wedding hosted in a garden full of flowers, a small live band, dancing couples and just a pastor (who can be a friend sometimes) announcing you 2 are now husband and wife?

Chinese being chinese, that is our parents' generations & above sure won't second my ideal wedding. I dunno lah. Not that wedding is something that is happening to me anytime soon.
I am not able to settle for that yet. Mentally & more importantly, financially.
Singapore's standard of living is beyond craziness! I might considered migrating to a poorer country to be richer.

So finally Saturday.
Jason & I went to the John Little's Warehouse Sales at Expo.
Before that, we had dinner at MOF. (I was still wondering what is MOF when Von mentioned the night before till I coincidentally bumped onto it at Bugis.)

Oh...I initiated a short chat with a Northern Aussie Ah-gong who was waiting for his wife (doing her manicure) and I was waiting for a 30 mins++ late Jason. -_-
The accent is thick and I can't make up some of the words he said. But ang-mohs(generally ang mohs) especially of the upper age are such friendly people. I just wondered why can't people over here be friendlier? They won't even offer to share their brolly! (Don't look at me, I DO OFFERED!)

Jason arrived shortly after and then I realised that I did not take a photo with that poppy!
Darn!

Photobucket At MOF @ My Izakaya.

MOF is like Azabu Sobu(or Sabu..I dunno lah!) but perhaps a lil' cheaper, faster service (Which I wondered are their food all pre-cooked and just waiting for warm up when ordered?)
I thought A.S has better ramen though.

Thier ice-cream is GOOD! Photobucket

Photobucket With nice settings (We got the window seats.) friendly staff, nice dessert and acceptable food, I gave it a 3.5 stars.

I bought 2 shoes from J.L's sales. One is a 2.5 inch court shoes(or what covered shoes you called that.) Never imagined I would buy heels shoes but it looks so dangerously nice & official that I can't resisted it! I had wanted to buy the other shorter one (perhaps 1 inch) but no size. -_-

My intention is to buy shoes that would fit for Irene's wedding and I ended up buying 2 that is not so relevant. Oh....busted!

Digress....

PhotobucketChewy Junior opened another outlet at Bugis (Basement) That is so much better than donuts so go try 1. =))

We went to Changi Airport afterwhich and I was so ZzZz at the viewing mall.

PhotobucketCan you tell me what is so nice about seeing aeroplanes at their 'driving range'? Oh yes....CATHAY PACIFIC planes make me relish about my Hongkong trip - something that is still very much just talking.

Other than that..aeroplanes are so unenviromental friendly, just like GOLF! I kinda despise avid golf players and Jason is playing today. He called that practising his job, I called that oh-blah, useless sport. In the first place...what kinda sport is that? It doesn't burn that much calories, kills trees and waste land, AND idiotically painful to watch.

Yes...I am worried that Earth will ba-boom at our times.

We didn't realised that there is more of Terminal 3 when we last visited there. At basement, there is a food court, popeyes, NTUC, Mr bean, Sports link, Minitoons & Minibits, Candy Empire etc.

Cadbury sure puts in alot of efforts in advertising.

Good to know.

PhotobucketCadbury...

Read this n if u ask why..Photobucket

Photobucket I know with my figure & round face, that is not convincing.

I know I look terrible by the last pic but it's already approaching end of the day. My energy span just can't last till night.
Last pic of the day.
Photobucket
Emo is such a big term now and just trying out. I meant a photographer's shot.
Okay, okay. Enjoy the last half before weekend poooossssssssssssssssssssssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhtttttttttt. Dunno what the heck am I talking.
